This use-case is a demonstration of redirecting users with subscribers ( krish and shiv) to home page instead of Profile Page.

Login with krish or shiv user using below credentials and observe that page is redirected to Home page instead of Profile page.  A complex Logical rule with User Role as subscriber and Request URL as profile path is defined.

Use the below demo authentication accounts.

User Name : krish
Password: bis123$
Role : Subscriber

User Name : shiv
Password: bis123$
Role : Subscriber

This use-case is a demonstration of redirecting a user based on logged in UserId and selected page.

Login with krish user using below credentials and click on “Redirect Test” sub menu under Redirect Rules Demo Menu, observe that page is redirected to Home page. Now login with shiv user using below credentials, observe and click on “Redirect Test” page observe that “Redirect Test” page is shown.  To achieve this usecase a complex Logical rule with User Id as Krish and Page as “Redirect Test” is used for defining Redirect rule. This is how we can leverage Logical rules for defining Redirect rules.
We can also redirect url in many ways by defining Logical rule on User Role, Country, Page Date and Time. Please see Country and Mobile Redirect section for more details.

Defined Logical rule  with User Id as Krish and Page as Redirect Test and used the rule in defining the Redirect Rule.

This use-case is a demonstration of custom error page for 404 response.

This use-case is a demonstration of Page Redirect for a particular user (Krish)

Access below link observe that “Redirect Test” page is displayed. Now login with Krish user and click on the redirect-test page. Page will be redirected to home page.

This use-case is a demonstration of redirecting to google mobile site for mobile users.

Click on the “Google Category” on the home page. For users accessing from tablet/mobile device will be redirected to google mobile site and desktop users will be redirected to google site.

Similarly we can solve unlimited number of use-cases using Redirect rules.

This use-case is a demonstration using Country dropdown shortcode.

Demo of country dropdown is available on top right corner of the Page. Page will be redirected to amazon website of selected country. Similarly customer can configure the their website URLs.
